Dream Run 2011
I got there about 15 minutes early. Just enough time to use the restroom and do some light stretching. I know it’s bad, but I never stretch before my training runs. So if I start crying about an injury, now you can tell me to suck it up buttercup.
Mike had to work & Lulu was sick, so you get self portraits…
It was chilly so that means perfect running weather in my books.
Official time: 50:18
Garmin time: 50:06
Average pace per mile: 8:19
Last year’s time was 55:29.
I am so happy & proud of my time. 🙂

I was kinda bummed this was the first race not having Mike or my sister there, but it forced me to step out of my bubble & meet some really cool girls. I’m so happy I did!
There were a few hills but nothing too crazy. It was pretty organized, unlike last year. Goody bag included a long sleeve cotton t-shirt, a coupon for a free chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-a, some raisins & some other flyers. The only thing I wish they would improve on is posting all of the results online. They only posted the winners. I’m a looser. I want to know my stats without having to make a phone call. Overall for $15 I’ll do this race again next year.
Now you have to be honest, do you stretch before exercise?
