Workout: 1 hour PT
Huge turning point in PT today.
Huge.
My left hamstring is finally feeling so much stronger. And better overall.
#brokenrunnernomo’
At the beginning of every session Jeff uses a metal device to loosen up the muscles, then follows up with a deep tissue massage.
Then has me lay on my belly kind of like this picture, except we tie 2 resistance bands around my left heel.
Using my right foot, I push my left leg up, and very slowly lower it to the table.
For more fun, he raises the table for more resistance. He’s such a peach, I tell ya.
This device will make you hurt so good.
Or in my case, want to punch Jeff in the face.
But then he’s cool and works on my arch for a bit.
We’re even.
I’ve also been walking a little more than usual. In theory, I think it’s helping condition my muscles & tendons for running.
Good thing I have a buddy who loves walking as much as I do.
There, now you know way more about PT than you really wanted to.
Sorry, I’m not sorry.
