First week of training

Workout: 2 mile run, strength training, .50 mile walk with the dogs.

This morning was a really nice over here.  We slept in, had breakfast & coffee.  Mike watched T.V while I played with the blog.

After taking my time stretching, I went for a 2 mile run. 

It was warm and a little humid out but I still pushed it a bit.

I’m happy with the effort I put into my first solid week of training.  I feel like I’m taking my time easing back into things and didn’t overdo it.

It feels so good to be back.

I started working out  2009 and have logged every single workout.  At the beginning of every month I get excited to print out a Google calendar.  Filling it in is more fun.  <-nerd alert.
