Exploring the Google Campus, Mountain View, CA
Workout: 6 miles, easy walking/cycling
Mike had to work today. Something about being overwhelmed with tickets. Blah, blah blah.
So I was sitting around thinking of something to do besides go shopping.
I’ve always wanted to explore the Google campus on foot so I took Bam over for a walk.
Fatty mc fat fat’s tiny legs would have never made it, so she chilled out at home.
I planned to walk around this hill. (The white tent is the Shoreline Amphitheater.)
It doesn’t look like much, but there are a lot of trails to explore. We got to the beginning and saw this.
Awe come on. It’s just birds, people.
So we turned around and walked on sidewalks around the area.
Gosh it’s so beautiful. And the weather is amazing!! Sunny, blue skies and in the 70’s.
Bam would like to let Google know if they need a mascot, he’s your man.
After his walk, I decided to explore on my own, so I took Bam home and came back. We live less than 2 miles away so it was no big deal.
I parked in the Shoreline Amphitheater parking lot and set out.
And realized right away this trail was not for me. There were ton’s of squirrels, not that I’m afraid of them but there were more here than I’ve ever seen in one place. Then the thought of snakes came to mind.
Yeah, moving right along…
I stuck to the sidewalks, which thankfully there are plenty of them.
After a bit I started to get thirsty. I have this 6th sense and somehow know where to find the nearest Starbucks.
On my walk back I passed this.
Beach volleyball!! Sign me up. The court was in the back and there was a mad game going on. So fun!
I wasn’t quite ready to head home when I saw this beauty. So I hopped on and rode around like I didn’t have a care in the world.
Are you tired of seeing pictures??
Too bad. 🙂
I rode the bike to my car and left it in the Amphitheater parking lot next to a trillion other bikes.
It’s were the double decker white buses park to load & unload employees.
I had so much fun!! I can’t wait to take Mike & do some more exploring. There’s so much I still haven’t seen.
If you come visit me, we’ll jack Google bikes & ride around too! All the cool kids are doing it.
