Connoisseurs’ Festival, Menlo Park

I found this event online a few weeks ago and since I love being outside and checking out authentic things, I was stoked to check it out today.

We wanted to avoid the crowds so we got there right when it opened.  Turned out to be a brilliant idea because it was pretty warm out, for this area anyhow, and parking was super easy.  Score!

We walked around an enjoyed a lot of art booths.  It’s amazing to see what people come up with.

I was excited to see a Larabar, Food Should Taste Good & Cascadian Farm’s tent!

After shoving as much as I could without getting the evil eye into my purse, we walked across the street to Stacks for 2nd breakfast.

Then a short walk to the local barber shop for a fur cut.

On our way to the car I was lured into the Geico booth.  They snapped my picture to be entered into a contest to win a $500 gas card.  Ehh, why not.

Y’all know I had to have my afternoon coffee.

We spent the rest of the afternoon chilling out a home.  It was everything I thought it’d be.

Such a nice, chill day around here.  It’s even better when my favorite guy has the day off.  🙂

Maybe I’ll get off my lazy butt and run tomorrow.

Or maybe I’ll sleep in and have breakfast in bed with a cup of hot coffee while surfing the net.  Just like this morning.

  1. You really make it appear so easy with your presentation however I to find this topic to be really one thing that I think I’d
by no means understand. It sort of feels too complicated and very large for
me. I’m taking a look ahead on your subsequent publish,
I’ll attempt to get the grasp of it!
