New Blogger Friends

I’m up to 5 miles now.

I was slow and stopped a few times but so happy to finally be running pain & injury free!

I think if I put in the miles, my speed will come eventually.  Well that’s what I’m hoping for anyhow.

Fall training is officially in full swing.

Moving on to more important stuff…

Like meeting new blog friends for fro yo at Yogurtland last night.

Sonia, Emily, Janae, baby Brooke & Maria.

I had so much fun hanging out with these girls and Billy.

It was really nice meeting bloggers/readers & runners because they don’t think your weird when you randomly whip out your camera or talk excessively about running & injuries.  Plus they tell you all about where the cool races and places to eat at are.

P.S Janae is just as sweet in person as she is on her blog and Brooke…I. can’t. handle. the. cuteness.

I hope to see you all again soon!

We should make it a weekly/monthly thing.

Your turn:

Have you ever gone to a blogger meet up?

This was my first of hopefully many.

  1. i just found your blog from janae’s and the description alone killed me! already a fan. i wish i would have come and met all of you because i live up here too and know janae! we’ll have to run together sometime. xo

  2. I’m training for second 1/2 marathon now and am starting to have knee pain. Trying to cut back so I don’t over do it but pain is no fun! I’m glad you are able to increase your mileage with no pain! I’ve never been to a blogger meet up and want to!

    • Your totally doing the right thing. It’s so hard to cut back so I commend you big time. My right knee bothers me when I over train and need to replace my shoes. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Jealous that you got to meet Janae!! Glad you enjoyed a run pain-free. I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant and I think my body is finally telling me enough with the longer runs (which is now only 4 miles 🙁 ), so I’ll live through all you other runners, while I dream about half marathons post baby!!
