Your not trying till your chafing
Today I ran 6 miles, which is officially my longest run since the California Classic in May 2011.
In a nutshell it was long & slow and I stopped a few times. At 2.81 miles I was ready to head home. As I ran in that direction my stomach suddenly started to feel better. Who knew!
I’ll throw in my splits for giggles this time.
Which put’s me at around a 2:06 half marathon. Not too bad, but I’m up bringing the hurt on so we’ll see.
Do you like to hurt as much as I do? It’s a sickness I tell ya.
Speaking of, I have this lovely battle wound on my rib cage from my sports bra.
Guess I didn’t use enough Body Glide. It felt great in the warm shower. Ha!
Oh, in other exciting news, I signed up for the Mermaid Duathlon.
It’s a 1.5 mile run, 12 mile hilly bike ride & 2.5 mile run. Finishing on the beach. My kind of party right there.
Plus you know I’ll do almost anything for a schweet hoodie & medal.
