Eat Like Her

I followed Cristin when she blogged at Eat Like Me.  When she left I started following her on Twitter.

Then she recently started her own blog, My RDealstic Diet and since we know I’m a blog stalker, we all know how that ends.  There should be some sort of a 12 step program for people like me.

Moving on….

Turns out we only live a few miles away from each other.  How cool is that!?

So today I met her and her adorable twins at Starbucks.  Now don’t pretend your all shocked we choose the ‘Bucks.

We have so much in common I already know we’re going to be BFF’s.  I mean we talked about blogs, running & life for about 2 hours.

After I came home and made the Birthday boy a “peach cobbler.”  Every time I call it a pie, I get schooled.  But really, what’s the difference between the two!?

Dress up time!

I figure if I’m not going to do my hair, I may as well dress up.  Wearing jean’s is totally dressing up in the book of Jacqueline.

We lucked out Simon & Reena wanted to join us for dinner at Outback Steakhouse.

Is there anything sexier than a man with a big piece of meat?

I usually get the Outback Special steak but it was a late dinner so I rolled with the Cobb salad.  It was delicious.

Our server overheard us talking about it being Mike’s birthday and brought out desert for him.  That was really cool of her.

Reena told me “in the Indian culture you want to burn the birthday candle all the way down, and the wish you make will come true.”

We’re not into wives tales or superstitions or anything like that, but it’s fun to play.

Let’s hope it comes true.

It’s way past my bedtime.  My eyeballs are dry and heavy.  Time for a bubble bath & bed for this girl.

I really want to know:

Do you like wearing jeans?

I do not.  And when I do, I only wear Hollister brand because they have the lowest rise.

Are you superstitious?

Do I like to wear jeans? Tough question. Since I hate shopping (unless it’s for Yoga or running gear) I wear jeans I’ve had for years until they literally have holes in the arse at which point I sadly throw them away :( . Holes in the knees? No prob. After all, I’m an 80′s girl at heart. But homie don’t play showing off my undies! Anyway, I much prefer to wear something with an elastic waist! Maybe I could try “jeggings” hee hee.

  2. I hardly ever wear jeans, jeggings if anything bc they are the closest to spandex lol but I recently bought some pink American Eagle jeans that are SUPER comfy therefore my style. Might be going back to find some more.

What do you wear for pants if you don’t wear jeans?? :)

I love to wear jeans! BTW: I love your red shoes in your “goin’ out” outfit! :D

  4. So jealous- I would love to do a blogger meet up! Totally loving your outfit btw
