Mike & I were on one of our weekend drives exploring and passed a huge sign promoting the Myth Busters exhibit at the Tech Museum in San Jose.
We are huge fans so this was right up our alley!
But first lunch needed to happen or I was going to hurt someone.
This was our first time trying Which Wich and I loved it! I’ve been wanting to check it out for months and was stoked we randomly ran into one.
Other things we ran into…
I can’t make this stuff up, folks.
And of course Starbucks for my first red cup of the season!!
Yes, I am “that” person who ordered an iced drink in a hot cup just for the holiday cup. 🙂
We made our way downtown for the exhibit.
It was really cool to see a lot of items they actually used on the show. Including the clothes they wore.
I really enjoyed the hands on experience. I’ve always wondered if the “pull the table cloth out from under a set table” was actually possible. It is, in case you were wondering too.
Other cool stuff…
I won the cliffhanger. Not that Mike’s two bad shoulders had anything to do with it. But I won, dang it!!
I volunteered at one of their live experiments to see if we react faster to light or sound using a light bulb & a paint ball gun.
Sound won because the brain can process it faster and therefore gives you a faster reaction time.
I think we averaged a .44 second reaction time for sound and .46 for sound so not too far apart.
Our Myth Buster tickets also included tickets to the Tech Museum, which was so much fun. I have a ton of pictures, and this post is getting long, so I’ll make sure I include them tomorrow.
Mike just got back from the store and handed me a bag of Twix, Sour Patch Kids & Sour Gummy Worms. All of my favorites!
He was making up for eating the last of the Halloween candy Reena sent home with us.
He had a Take 5 which I think tastes like chocolate, caramel sandpaper. Yuck.
What was the last exhibit or museum you’ve been to?
What’s your favorite candy? Salty or sweet?
Usually I love salty, but tonight a little sugar sounded good so I rolled with it.
Are you a fan of Myth Busters?
