He’s an angry elf
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas…
Well minus Christmas tree shopping in sunny, 70* weather.
Thanks to my sweet husband who did all of the hard work.
I guess that means I’ll have to forgive him for photo bombing me earlier. Funny thing is, he does this to random strangers too. When he see’s someone taking a picture, he pops in with a goofy look and sometimes get’s caught. Luckily so far everyone has a great sense of humor and laughs at him.
I decorated the tree while Mike screamed at the 49er game on T.V, ordered pizza, and popped all of the Christmas balls out of the package for me. Don’t ask, we’re dysfunctional like that.
I’ll have to get a few good pictures of my favorite ornaments soon, because I’m kinda…okay beyond stoked about the Ralphy one.
Oh yeah, and here’s the dinner Mike ordered for 2 people. Two. #firstworldproblems
Of course I had to torment Bam.
I took 64 pictures to get these 2 half decent ones of Mr. angry mc angry elf.
Then we took Mr. grumpy angry elf pants to get his shots.
To prove we’re not entirely evil pet owners, we took him to the dog park for a long time after, which made his day.
On the way home I saw a 7 Eleven that I pass by every day and randomly asked Mike to stop in for a Coke Slurpee.
It takes me back to when I was a kid. I was instantly reminded about the times my mom & grandma Lucille would occasionally stop in at on our way home from church and treat my brother, sister & I to one. We would get so excited when we pulled into that parking lot!
It’s been several years since I had one and it didn’t taste near as good as I remembered, but I think that happens to most things as you get older. But the memories it brought back was so worth it!
When do you put your Christmas tree up?
Do you have a favorite ornament?
What is something you don’t have often that reminds you of your childhood?
