Workout: Rest day, traveling, lifting coffee to face
We’re getting ready to start loading up the SUV to head home for the next 5 (five!) days. Hopefully traffic isn’t too bad.
In the meantime, I thought I’d entertain you with a little crafty project I did for Christmas gifts that turned out to be a big hit. Keep in mind, I am craft challenged, so this is super simple, anyone can really do it.
Now that Christmas has come & gone, I wanted to share a genius idea I saw on Pinterest with you.
When I saw this, I knew it was something even I, could actually do.
First I choose a few 4X6 pictures & had them printed at Target.
Then went to the craft store for cute scrap book paper. I found the 5X7 picture frames at Ikea for $1.99 each. I choose white, but you can always spray paint them.
And tiny clothespins. I really wanted metal clips, but could only find these in the Wedding section, so I rolled with them.
Then I traced around the matting so the paper fit perfectly in the frame.
Then my super smart husband made this so I wouldn’t have any problems centering the clip.
I didn’t glue the scrapbook paper to the frame like Shanty Chic did because I figured it would be nice to have the option to change that out too.
I think they turned out super cute and my family & friends seemed to really like them Even my “Martha Stewart” sister loved them!!
I figured out each personalize, made with love gift only cost $2.50. Double score!
