One thing I love about living in the bay area is there are so many different, beautiful trails. It never get’s old.
The weather is still incredible, I just had to be outside by the water.
I proved to myself that running is so much more mental than physical until around mile 2.50, I found my groove and it everything suddenly fell into place.
I swear I’m solar powered. I could live in the sun forever, I hope having leather face replaces the popularity of duck lips.
I know y’all are worried that I would freak out if I saw a snake on the trail. I assure you it’s still too cold (53) for them. At least that’s what Mike tells me and he may not live if I see one.
I saw a lady out paddle boarding and now it’s on my bucket list.
I wanted to run a new loop and turns out it was 4.25 miles, so I kept going a little to make it an even 5. Plus I really, really didn’t want to leave. It was one of my favorite recent runs.
This is how I tell the injury punks to suck it. 5 miles + stretching. Jeff would be so proud.
This is a PSA from SCB; do not go grocery shopping after a long run.
And because I like to peek into your shopping cart, here’s my loot. Plus unpictured eggs, beer for Mike to try, wine & bananas.
Where is your favorite place to run?
Hands down, the beach or by the water.
If you shop at Trader Joe’s what’s your favorite item(s)?

I love your leather face/duck lips comment…and I totally agree! I love the sun too! Your 53 degree weather sounds like a heatwave! We’ve barely broken the 20 degree mark here in Utah :0 and its gotten down to -4 at night. Blahhh
But we do have the most beautiful mountains to run in
Burrr that’s cold. I’ve never been to Utah, but my husband has and thinks it’s gorgeous.
I love your running pics! Looks so pretty there! My favorite place to run here is our Greenline/Greenway. It’s just so perfect. I ran my first trail race on Sunday and I have to say that a real hardcore trail is a favorite too.
