Recover mode is bliss! I am sure you all know this already.
I had a rough night of sleep so lot’s of Bam snuggles were needed this morning. He’s such a sweet little guy. <3
After a slow start, Mike & I got ready and headed to the Crapevine on University in Palo Alto for brunch. I had the Denver Omelet with fresh fruit. Man, I so needed a great meal & they delivered as usual.
Followed by Starbucks because there is no such thing as too much coffee. This is something I prove every day!
Followed by afternoon Bam snuggles while reading your blogs, stalking Instagram and participating in #runchat for the first time. So fun!
As we were served brunch, Mike got called into work. So I drowned my sorrows in a little cake batter fro yo with Oreo’s. One of my best ideas all day.
Bonus: he was home much sooner than I anticipated and made chicken & wild rice soup for dinner. I am totally aware of how lucky I am.
I’m a little bummed I missed John & Sherry from younghouselove.com
They did a book signing at West Elm right down the street from Crapevine and I had no idea until it was over. Enter sad face.
I hope you all had a relaxing and fun weekend too!
What is something your looking forward to this week?
Did you do anything fun this weekend?

Looks like a great Sunday! Hopefully your race was good too!
It was amazing! Thanks!
We went and checked out the Prehistoric Pet store near our house with the kids! Umm turtles climbing out of the man made pond towards you equals freaky!!! LOL! Glad you had a great Sunday recharge day!
Ha sounds “fun”!
Congrats on your race. Looks like a fun one – I will keep that one in mind for next year! Bam looks so cute cuddled up on you.
I’m so excited for two things this week a)going to Chez Panisse in Berkeley for dins and b)getting a costco membership this week. woohoo!!
You have to let me know what you think of Chez Panisse! Oh and LOVE Costco. Have fun.
Your dog is so cute!
This weekend was pretty low key and very relaxing. Just the way I like it.
Thank you! So happy you had a relaxing weekend too.
Bam looks like a good snuggle dog! All I did this weekend was pack & move. I am SICK of moving things.
Oh man, I know. We moved twice within a year and looking again. Makes me thankful I like throwing things away. Good luck with unpacking now too.
