This is a super important topic today.
Let’s talk about hair.
Mine is long so I always put it up in a pony or bun and a BIC Band. I don’t have bangs, but the headband is tight and holds my hair in place so I don’t have to worry about it sliding down. Plus all of the cool kids wear them!
When I train I wear it up in a high bun with a BIC Band. For races I tend to put it in a high pony, braid it with a BIC Band.
For duathlon’s, I do a low pony with a braid so I didn’t have any issues with my helmet for the bike ride. This worked out really well for transition.
I also love to wear hats. I usually wear them when it’s raining but also when it’s warm and really sunny out. Oh wait, I live in Cali, it’s always sunny. Oh well I guess I wear them when I feel like it then.
On a side note I have much love for the Nike mesh hat. It’s a women’s fit and doesn’t make my ears flop out like Dumbo and I can still wear sunglasses.
I pretty much dig braids big time.
Plus when I rock the braid like I did last weekend, I didn’t have to do my hair.
Well it’s not like I even do my hair anyway but still…
