I woke up feeling inspired today. I don’t know why, but I’m feeling good and ready take on the day. Maybe it’s just the coffee talking…
I also woke up sore from strength training yesterday. My hip flexors, arms, core, legs and eyelashes are protesting right now, but I love the pain. I know what I’m doing is working. It’s kind of a sickness. Ha!
So I took my inspired, over caffeinated self out for a nice, relaxing run I’ve had in the longest time!! Well until some lady tried to hit me with her car as I was running on the sidewalk. I almost pulled a “hey! I’m gliding here!” from the taxi scene that almost runs Gracie over in Miss Congeniality.
That lady should consider herself lucky today.
Anyway, I had to enjoy the super schweet weather we’re having. Seriously, it’s supposed to be close to 70 this week. Eeek!
I knew it was going to warm up so I headed out a little earlier than usual and even put on a tank! I actually felt like a free runner girl advertisement for Nike, well with the exception of my beloved Mizuno’s of course.
About 97% of my gear is Nike. They do it right. And of course Lululemon, but dang that stuff’s expensive.
I did a 5K around the ‘hood. Kept it easy as my left ankle is still sore from super ninja’s deep tissue massage yesterday. Why did I ever tell him how much I like pain?
Then I took Bam back for a little extra long play time in the sun. That guy loves it as much as I do!
I’m still sitting in my sweaty running gear as I type this, so I guess I better go do something with myself.
Curiosity got to me and I joined the Vine this morning. I’m not even sure what it’s all about yet, does anyone else use it?

The weather here has been NICE yesterday and today – sunny and 70* yesterday and today it’s warm but cloudy. Going to get cold again tomorrow, boooo. But these two days have made me SO excited for spring and spring races!

I have always wanted to try Lululemon but it’s just so dark expensive! I admire it from afar. I love my Brooks shoes!

Love that you breeze through a 5k at 28 minutes. I would come huffing and groaning in about 20 minutes later.
