We’re solar powered

Hello there, how was your Wednesday?

If you found me through Skinny Runner, welcome and thanks for stopping by!

Hello to all of my regulars too!

I took advantage of the schweet weather we’re having and stayed outside as much as I could this afternoon.  This is our little slice of countryside in the city.

I took Bam a.k.a Mr. energy to our favorite park and roamed around.  Bam stalked birds & dug for squirrels, you know, the usual.  I just pretended I didn’t see the “dogs must be on leash” sign.  It’s a good thing he can’t read either.

I’m starting to think we’re solar powered.

A few cool things:

I’m really excited about a few things and wanted to share them with you.

Katy’s 28 day blog challenge starts tomorrow.  I am stoaked about this.  Here are the details about it I found on Katy’s blog.

It’s time to commit to building a better blog and creating community — so come join the 28-Day Blog Challenge! It’s the shortest month of the year but you can have a big impact by taking small steps each day in February. We start on February 1 and whether you’re just beginning your journey or are a well-established blogger looking to become even bigger, everyone is welcome. I’ll make recommendations of 28 things you can do (adding subscription options, tweaking commenting settings, organizing your Google Reader) and you can take them as far as you want OR you can create your own to-do list. To take part, just accept the challenge, download the app on your phone and leave a comment or post a photo every time you do something positive for your blog or the blogging community! Make sure you tweet about your work using the hashtag #28DBC.

Anyone else participating?

Also I’m working on a few uber cool giveaways.  So be on the look out for them soon.

Random questions:

Do you think running in more mental or physical?

What do you do to relax?

  1. Once you have your legs trained to cover some base mileage, I think the running becomes more mental. But it’s hard to say – I think training works the mind AND the body :)

  2. Just signed up for the challenge. Hoping this is something I can stick to to improve the blog :)

Gorgeous day yesterday. Looks like it’s shapog up to be lovely again! Love the pic of Bam with his head down a hole :)
