I found it & Nothing Bundt Cake cupcake review

**Edited to correct the post title & link to site.  Apparently I am severely under caffeinated this morning.

Mike told me I’m mean this morning.

This grandma stayed up past 11 last night, I’m surprised I didn’t turn into a pumpkin.

Anyway, I thought to myself before I went to bed, I get to run tomorrow!!  Anyone else get excited about running too?  Come on, I can’t be the only run nerd out there.

I’ve been keeping up with my healthy pledge of 2013 which is strength training.  I’m not sure I mentioned it on here, but I’m really trying hard to stick with it.  I really need it to keep the injury punks away.

Well yesterday as I was doing some leg work I noticed a little shiny thing under the couch.  I just thought it was a gum wrapper.

As I got closer I realized what it was and got so excited.

My 2nd favorite ring!!  First is my wedding ring of course.  I lost it a couple months ago and tore up the house looking for it.  Last weekend I was just telling Mike how disappointed I was about loosing it.  He laughed at me when I told him I got it at a street fair in Pismo Beach back in October of 2006 with him.  It was only $6 but I loved it because it reminded me of our weekend together and my favorite place, the beach.

I guess my photographic memory is comical to him or something.

Moving on, see these two love birds, they are the coolest landlords ever.

They came over for dinner and brought CUPCAKES from Nothing Bundt Cakes!   They know the way to my heart.

Don’t be jealous of Mike’s Costco sized FF in the background.  He eats it while playing Angry Birds.

You think I’m joking, but I assure you I am not.

How did they know red velvet is my favorite!?  You guys, it was ah-mazing.  Seriously these babies rival the mother ship of cupcakes, Sprinkles.

I think we should have a cupcake wars day and go to all of the shops, take home and compare.  Anyone want to come to the bay area and join me?

The rest of the evening was spent catching up with Simon & Reena, which is always so fun.

I guess it was past Bam’s bedtime too because he spent the night like this.

Now I get to run!!

Are you a morning person or night owl?

Do you strength train?

Do you cross train?

  1. Bam is so cute!!! Love the sleeping pups. Awesome job keeping up with the strength training! What are your favorite types to do?

    • I’m working on a post about it right now. Just need my “photographer” to catch a day off work. I’ll have the post up next week. 🙂

  2. Love anything Bundt Cakes. They are very good. I actually do like them more than Sprinkles 😉 Totally a morning person. though I am having a tough time waking up early enough to work out. I need to strength train. I stopped doing that when Body Pump got insanely crowded at the gym. Cross train yes. But I should do it more often 🙂 Sleeping pups are the best.

  3. Yay!!! I LOVE cupcakes!!! And I am more of a morning person. I can’t really stay up past 10 or else I go all crazy on people in the morning. Plus, my husband has told me multiple times that I am much nicer when I get up before everyone else. I think he just expects me to be his alarm clock 😉

  4. I’d totally take the drive down to cupcake taste with you! I think I’m a little out of it today as well….when you said “this grandma” my 1st thought was “she is waaaay too young to have grandchildren.” Thank goodness it’s Friday! 😉

  5. I am sooooo a morning person. I am a total grandma as well, and hate going to bed after 10. I try to strength train about 3 days a week… TRY is the optimal word here. Some days it’s a struggle.
