Coffee makes everything better

Hello there!!  I hope your all having a great day.

Not gonna lie, I was stressing out a little about not having enough time to get a blog post up this morning.  I mean, the world depends on me to entertain it.  No?

Then while I was sitting outside enjoying a cup of coffee, I reminded myself blogging should work around my life.  Not the other way around, right!?

Anyway I managed to get in a 5K run before going to the dentist for a cleaning.  I finally feel like my training is paying off a little bit.  My cardiovascular system can actually keep up.  Boom!

Clearly this is a case of running > late to dentist appointment.  I have no shame because I ratted myself out to my dental hygienist.

After poking me like a voodoo doll, the dentist came in to check everything out.  He told me “your boring” and sent me on my way.  I’ll take it!

Since I was in the area, I stopped by to harass Jeff.  I am sure he misses me.  Actually we’re working on a few things together and I am uber excited.  I’ll let you know when we solidify it all.  But I’m pretty stoked about it.

Last year after my torture PT sessions, I would take my lunch and enjoy it parked in front of this inlet from the bay.  Then after I would head up to Burlingame to do Catherine’s grocery shopping.

It’s so peaceful here.  Can you imagine this being your office!?  Incredible, right!?  Plus there’s a sidewalk alongside it to take an after lunch stroll.

It’s all located in Redwood Shores where a lot of cool corporations are based out of, like the Oracle HQ.  If you come to the bay area, I’ll take you there.  ;)

This made my day even better.

I ran a few other errands and finally made it home to Bam.  He’s such a wild man today so I’m thinking we need to head outside so he can burn some of his energy off.

Today’s the last day to enter my Pro Compression giveaway.  Get on it, all the cool kids are doing it.

Your turn!

Do you live by anything cool?

When training for a race, do you focus on pace or distance?

Any other coffee lovers out there?  Come on, make me feel kinda normal!

I love coffee as much, if not more than you. Starbucks is my almost daily visit on the way to work. Love your blog! :)

Coffee does make EVERYTHING better! I love my coffee.
I live close to the beach (on the east coast). I love salt air.
I am training for my first 10k. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.

  5. I recommend Jeff Galloway’s method. Here’s a link to it.

Also the Couch to 10K is a pretty reputable one too.

  8. You’re right coffee DOES make everything better!! My office has some pretty nice views, on one side we can see the Statue of Liberty and the soon to be new World Trade Towers. On the other side we can see everything up town and the Empire State Building. There are also some nice parks nearby that we can sit down and have some lunch at :)

  9. I actually live where there are no Starbucks, but it is the number one thing I dream about when I dream about going home. I am planning to be in the Bay during summer, and i can’t wait!! I love that area.

    • This is sad. ;) Do you live in the country? You will love it here. There’s a coffee shop on every corner it seems.

      • I don’t live in the US currently, no. But my parents live in San Francisco and I love visiting them. I have sampled many lovely kinds of coffee. In fact, I don’t really go to Starbucks much in SF, because there are so many cooler local coffee places.
