Happy Sunday!!  What are you up to today?

Mike got called into work for an emergency this morning.  When he get’s home, I think we are going to hit up the farmers market and he offered to cook dinner tonight.  He is a freaking amazing cook!!  Well, of course pending he doesn’t get called in again.

Other than that I have no idea what kind of trouble we’ll get into.

Yesterday the clock kept moving and I didn’t but I finally made it out for a run before leaving to pick up Lu.  I knew I didn’t have time to throw down more miles, so I pushed it pretty hard for 3.10 miles.

I also did a little strength training later in the evening.

When I realized I actually had a few minutes to spare, the Lululemon Outlet in Gilroy called my name.  When that happens it is one of those life rules that you have to obey.

I found a really cute neon yellow cycling jersey for $29.  It’s the same style as the one I’m wearing here.

Mike’s ex wife was so nice to meet me half way to exchange the kid.  Smile  It saved me about 3 hours driving time.  I am so thankful we have a great relationship with her.

Since I’m lame and didn’t snap a pic of the Lu, here’s an older one of us taken Christmas vacation.

We made it home and chilled out for a bit.  Then Mike forced us to go out to dinner with him.

I was serious when I said “forced” haha!  I think I’m the one in a gazillion chicks that actually does not like going out to dinner.  I do love going out for lunch though.

Poor Mike, sigh.

We went to The Old Spaghetti Factory in downtown Redwood City.  It’s actually one of our favorite places.

Mike requested a window seat so we could people watch and make fun of them.  We’re classy like that.

I pretty much always get the marinara and mushroom spaghetti.  So predictable, right!?

Do you like going out to dinner?

What is favorite restaurant?

Do you like to people watch?

Yes!  We watched a guy try to parallel park for close to 7 minutes.  That made for cheap entertainment.  Although I shouldn’t talk because I can only parallel park if there’s an extra wide space.  Mike on the other hand is a champ.  I don’t know how he does it.

  1. I actually prefer going out for lunch over dinner, 1. because I am an 89 year old in a 32 year old body and go to bed by 9pm & 2. Dinner is my smallest meal of the day, so I can eat more at lunch.

  2. Going out to breakfast is my favorite. I love Black Bear Diner’s sweet cream pancakes. Soooo yummy!

I didn’t know the Gilroy Outlets had lululemon!!
