Home for Christmas

Merry Christmas Eve!!  We’re up bright & early about to head home.  We have family in from Alabama and I can NOT wait to see everyone.  And possibly be reminded why we moved far away.  I kidd, I kidd!  Kinda.

Grandma & I are going to bake some cookies and toffee for last minute gifts.  I like to have something on hand to give out when family & friends randomly swing by.  Last year we made caramel popcorn.  It was amazing so if you’re in need of a last minute gift, it’s easy to whip up, plus you probably have all of the ingredients on hand.

I will be taking the day off from blogging tomorrow to enjoy with my friends & family.  And eat lots and lots of tamales.  My parents make them every Christmas and my favorite ones by far are the jack cheese & jalapeno.  Can’t.wait.

Mike, Bam & I wish you a very Merry Christmas!!  I hope you have a wonderful day filled with family, friends, food & cheer.  Lots of cheer.

  1. We made our tamales over the weekend 🙂 We recruited my sisters in laws and the work went even faster. hallelujah. But the end result of all the work is worth it. My sister loves the jack cheese a jalapeno combination too. I can’t handle the heat so I stick with good ol chicken or plain Mexican cheese 🙂

Have a very Merry Christmas and hope you have a lovely time with you family! <3
