Tour guide + my new workout
My BFF Ronda is here visiting for the weekend. I get really excited to show folks my new playground and pretty much blow their minds.
The awesome weather is holding out so we dropped the top and cruised down 17 Mile Drive to Pebble Beach.
I love the details on the course.
After exploring Stillwater Cove we hopped back onto 17 Mile Drive to Pacific Grove. If you’re ever in the area, this has to be on your list of things to do. I should put together a whole page about things to do in Monterey/PB/PG.
Anyway we drove by the Ghost Tree. We had to Google it to find out the reason for the name. Legend has it there’s a lady in lace that has often been spotted on dark foggy nights. She upsets motorist.
R wanted to check out the Lone Cypress, which was really fun to check out the rugged Northern Cali coast. Well, that was until a bus full of tourist pulled up and we hightailed it out of there.
We could have stayed all day to watch the waves crash into rocks. My teeth were salty from smiling so much at this beauty. #gooberalert
The surf competition at Mavericks in Half Moon Bay is this weekend and I can tell the conditions are crazy. The waves were abnormally rugged up here as well. I think they had to postpone some of it due to hazardous conditions.
Then we drove to Carmel beach and walked along the water until the tide started to come in and we got hungry for dinner.
I have decided that pulling sea kelp is my new workout. That thing was so heavy.
And we both decided that we need to own this mansion when we get rich.
Then we wrapped up our day over a glass of Chardonnay and dinner. Mike even got a chance to break away from work to join us. And pay.
Here’s a little something for you, I triple dog dare you not to laugh.
I normally do not like watching videos I don’t even know why. But this is an exception. I probably have watched it 26 times in the last 2 days and laugh every single time.
Wine lovers, white or red?
White for this girl.
Do you believe in ghosts?
Nope, I’d have to see it to believe it.
Have you ever visited an interesting place with ghost stories?
