This makes me feel old
Yesterday was my Saturday so I spent it accordingly.
I may have texted my BFF, R and said I’m ready to not be around people now. I like being around people, but I really like my down time to do whatever I want. Or…nothing at all.
It was a nice relaxing day. Mike + I grabbed a cup of coffee, put the top down and went for a Monday drive. We talked about how beautiful it is and how we still can’t wrap our brains around whoever thinks we deserve this. We are beyond thankful and enjoy every second of it. We drove along the ocean from Cannery Row in Monterey, thru Pacific Grove & Pebble Beach.
He even took me down my favorite drive in Carmel so I can check it out without focusing on driving. He’s that kind of guy. And yes, that street is literally right above the ocean without any guard rails.
I found us another, much cheaper home so we can all pitch in and buy a bathroom and possibly a closet. It’s only 2.9 mill. Who’s down?
When we got home I cracked open this KeVita probiotic drink I scored at the she.is.beautiful race Sunday. They had me at lemon cayenne. I’ve never tried anything like this before and surprisingly I liked it a lot. I can’t wait to try the mint mojito.
After some grocery shopping, catching up on laundry + cleaning the floors <-hello Cinderalla I went for a much needed mani-pedi. I couldn’t decide on which color to get so I went with both of them and now look like an Easter egg.
Mike showed me this picture, and it made this 80’s baby feel really old.
What’s your favorite 80’s movie?
Ferris Buellers Day off, Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story + Back To The Future.
Have you ever tried kombucha or another probiotic drink? Did/do you like it?
I was really surprised to like it, but also think it’s like wine – an acquired taste.
