How Bam became apart of our family

This guy!!

I am not sure if I ever told you guys how Bam became a member of our family. A couple years ago we lost our Jack Russell, Bo to cancer. I loved the energy & loyalty of the breed and knew I most definitely wanted another JR. So we waited a couple months to find the perfect dog, and one day Mike saw Bam on a Jack Russell rescue website. We drove out to meet him, and before we knew it, dude was in our backseat smiling on the way home with us. Funny how fast that happens, uh?

We go on so many adventures, he needs a North Face jacket. ūüėČ Our buddy brings me so much joy my heart can’t even handle it. Last weekend when we were working on the reclaimed wood wall {say that 3 times fast, ha), Bam went to play with his buddies for the day. When we got home from dropping him off and running errands, our house felt so empty. I never want to come home and feel that again. It was so weird not to see Bam grab the nearest toy, running around the house like a wild man happy to see us. We didn’t miss the butt chewing though. Ha!

It’s funny how Bam is so tiny, yet wherever we go he picks the biggest dog around and becomes best friends with it. He’s like hi my name is Bam, it used to be Jack but you can call me whatever you want. I’m your new friend. Wanna dig for gophers? Wanna go to the dog park? Wanna chase squirrels? Wanna run in the mud? Ooh a butterfly‚Ķ

That’s how I imagine his brain works.

Bam makes me so incredibly happy, I am always looking for ways to keep him happy and healthy.

And he does the same for me.
