Visiting the Bay Area + a picture gone wrong
On New Years Day I hit up the gym to ride the bike. Surprisingly it wasn’t insane like I had pictured, so that was nice. I have been cleared to ride the bike and the elliptical since day 2 post surgery but have been a chicken about changing things up. I decided to give the elliptical a try so I alternated between the two. It went well, so hopefully I’ll build up the confidence to get back into the pool. Gosh I miss it.
On my way out of the gym I noticed they sell Hot Pockets & Lunchables. WTH? I complained to Mike about how terrible that is and then ate cherry pie for second breakfast. #truestorybro
When I’m not at the gym, I have been chilling out on the couch under my electric throw (thank you Grandma Jo), watching Gilmore Girls & playing Suduko. Funny how someone who disagrees with math likes to play this game. Don’t ask.
Then I snapped this and later realized it was freaking hilarious. Even Mike was impressed with my mad photography skillz.
I made sure to take it extra easy all week because we had big plans to go to San Jose to see Em. She’s back from So Cal so that means it’s like Christmas all over again!!!!!
After a little ** cough **shopping at Athleta **cough** we met up with her at the Yard House on Santana Row for dinner. The boy ordered a giant beer because he was outnumbered. Bam stayed at home. 😉
I had this delicious BBQ Chicken salad in case you are wondering.
There is never enough time to catch up but we always do our best. We haven’t known each other for a year yet, but it’s like Em and I have known each other forever.
Em did a little post dinner shopping where she scored this super cute coat because it has been freezing here lately. Our lows = 30’s.
Don’t worry, I made sure to order a diet Pepsi with extra ice while shivering.
Classic J move right there.
I am so sad the holidays are over and today life goes back to normal. Well kinda. I’m off until Pro Am so I guess it’s time to start planning some fun things until then.
Anyone else not ready for the holidays to be over?
What are temps where you live?
Any recommendations on what to watch after Gilmore Girls?
